Found Board
A board was found floating around in the gulf 17 miles offshore this weekend.
All I can say is it is a twin-tip....you provide the rest of the description and one lucky chap has found their board. Stranger things have happened. |
I met a guy from USF (went to St. Pete Campus) that lost a board in Hurricane pass about a week or two ago (monday after Thanksgiving I think).
Wonder if he's watching the forums? And yes Steve-o... Stranger things HAVE happened!! |
Herb Lost his board -Maybe it's his???
If the board you found is a Slingshot "Drake" silver on top (or gray)-
Call Herb Evans as he lost his and I told him I would get on the forum to see if anyone found it. His number is 941-371-0136 or call me -Cindy -Best Pro-Kiteboarding Center 727-458-3502...thanks.. |
Unfortunately Cindy that is not the board. Sorry.

red on top, white underneath underground board? 146 x 44 I think it was, the older model that they stopped making in 2005?. Lost it almost exactly 1 year ago, is it back looking for papa?
|
If it's a blue and white Best Float with a red handle, call me, I pm'd my #. Colin lost it almost a month ago now.

Super Phatty (Aggression)? I lost one about a year ago.
Raul, I think you meant 2005. |
Someone is going to find 20 boards floating offshore like a kiteboarding ghost town.
|
Sorry, let me narrow it down a bit. The board is blue in color and a twin tip. I would say no more than a year old. It does have a sticker on it which should really help identify board.
Just another reason everyone should put their name and number on their boards. If that was there, this board would already be back to the owner. It's amazing to me how many people out there don't do this. Sorry for the lack of info on the first post. Steve-O |
The problem with putting your name and number on your board is that permanent marker looks like crap and eventually wears off anyway. Labels fall off in a few sessions from the beating of the water against them. Making a custom bumper sticker may be the answer but is a heck of a lot of work...
Steve-O, what do you use to label your boards with your name and number? Thanks! |
Toby,
That is exactly what I use. A bumber sticker. Surf related stickers usually hold up under the elements. Lots of guys put them on skim boards, surf boards, wake, ect. We have a 3x4 inch sticker from WSW that has our phone number on it. The only downside is that removing the sticker leaves a uv mark which probably isn't that great for resale, but it's hard to resell something that is lost. LOL! Stickers are free at the shop. I will try to remember to keep a bunch with me if any one wants em. The board I lost back in March got returned to me in Sept from a dude in Texas. It was the sticker that saved my ass. |
Thanks!!!

This is comical. I feel like I need to start the thread over.
The board is blue mates. BLUE!!!! |
Is it a Yellow Directional board, red stripes? :)
|
Is the board blue?
|
Is it blue with pink and yellow fade, velvet straps, with a big penis graphic and Cadillac hood ornament?
Damn I thought I'd never find it. |
