I just got the sweetest summer job!
I just got hired as the newest coach at real. My stay at real will be from june to november. So I won't be missing any wind. You all are invited and encouraged to come visit me over the summer.

Cool. Make sure we know how to reach you. I want my kite trip this year to involve flying from Tampa to Norfolk, two hours in the rental car, then charge the Sound. I'm serious. I went to the first season of Real camps so it will good to see Trip and Matt again, anyhow.

I will be up there the first week of june. I wont become a coach until I go through training, which they cant do until after their comp in june.

Congrats Shawn!!! As Kev, E-Bone, Eagle and Steve already said, we couldn't have asked for a better string of good things to happen to our locals!!! We are all very proud of your accomplishment and can't wait to hear your stories when you return.

Yeah, let me know how the wind is, and where to stay... I plan on coming up after the summer semester is over. Don't know where I'm staying, don't know where to ride... most likely will be tent camping though.

Thats cool kev. It would just be nice to see some familar faces up there every once and a while. If you guys tell me when you are comming up I will find you a place to stay and what not. That goes for anybody from this area. I know ive had my diferances with some of you guys but hey we all do. So to anybody from this area thinking of hitting hatteras to escape the no wind summers here I will still be reachable on this forum. So hit me up while im there.

One eye go to www.realkiteboarding.com and look at their 3 day camps if you really want to learn right now. If you take one of their 3 day camps dont worry about buying a trainer thats what the whole first day is about.
