Sea breeze was good yesterday. It might do it again today (maybe not... who knows)... but...

It also blew real well out of the east last night at Lassing starting about an hour after dark, and is forecast to do the same tonight. Bayflite?

an almost full moon that will be directly overhead around midnight...
super high tide (LP) around midnight....
and a strong east wind around midnight....

Let's just keep it relatively quiet especially if a lot of us show. ;)

If it doesn't seabreeze today and stays East throughout the day, I will hit Lassing before sunset (hoping for the spike) and ride through til 10pm or so.

i probably wont get there till around 9 or so, maybe ride till midnight....
hopefully it will be 13m weather :)

If you plan on riding past 10:00PM you might want to park on one of the avenues rather than on beach drive. "No Parking past 10:00 PM" signs on one side of beach drive cause many "midnight riders" to park on the other side of beach drive. While this may seem a wize move, think about the millionairs that live in that house you just parked in front of. East wind means if your smoking stankie stuff the millionairs WILL smell it. If you are loud they will hear it. Please don't piss out @ lassing at any time. Go to MC donald's or wendy's over on 4th.
Lately I've noticed local riders aacting like LP iz their own back yard. NOT COOL...you know who you are. Please don't make me call you out cause i will.

I'm down, if I don't have to go to work tonight (i'm on call). Scott, maybe this time we can get a night ride in. I talked to you a couple weeks ago about doing one at LP but you never showed up....well, neither did the wind! lol I'll keep checking the forum. Man, I've been dying to do a night patrol.

just wondering where LP is. I have been kitin for about a year now and not up for a night ride but would enjoy to watch you guys tear it up.

You don't have to stay late. I'll be outta there by 10. Only the crazy, obsessive, hard up riders are staying til 1am.

If you guys don't mind keeping me clued in as to riding location I would appreciate it. I can't imagine there's gonna be too many riders at LP tonight, maybe 4? pm me if you don't want to broadcast the info. I haven't ridden in over a week and I'm hardup to ride. If anyone wants to stay late I'm down.

The Skyway was good this AM. I was all by myself for about an hour before I had to leave for work. It was reading 16 knots on the beach at about 8:45.

It's been blowing pretty strong from the E all day today, so I think it might do like last week and beat out the seabreeze and give another shot working man's wind from the NE around sunset.

My bad Inferno. I didn't realize you had posted. I didn't check the internet between leaving work Thursday evening and heading out Friday AM. I'll try to make it a habit to post before doing any weekday DP sessions in the future. I thought for sure someone would be out. It's always better to have another kiter around to share the stoke and in case anything goes WAAAAAY wrong.

I would say I saw you coming and through a trick for you Invisble, but as your name implies, I couldn't see you. Thanks for the honk though. Actually, I might have heard it, now that you mention it.

Several guys got blown off big kites all at once at the SW at around 7pm.
It was pretty impressive to see the wind go from 13 to 25 in 30 seconds. That happens a lot out there on easts, but is still always an impressive sight.
