CKA is going back to the Burg for another throw down on the flats of Tampa Bay

This event is being sponsored by the awesome donations from Best, Slingshot, Liquid Force, Dakine, Airush, Watersports West, Ikitesurf and Runa Clean Energy

This is a two day event on Nov 15th-16th and a back up date of Nov 22nd-23rd.

$150 in cash, bags from Dakine, custom Slingshot kiteboard for the top school, gift certificates and additional schwag from Watersports West for the top 3 riders in each division (Freestyle/Race/Alumni)

Local pro-riders Billy Parker, Drew Christianson and Oliver Berlic will be out to judge the event and keep the crowd pumped for an epic jam session.

***OFFICIAL 72HR ANNOUNCEMENT***
Hey everyone, things are looking great for the comp this weekend, if possible I'd like to finish on Saturday. We are expecting 12-24kts from the NE-E and stronger on Sunday, but possible storms and it turns S. I'd like everyone there at 9AM for registration and warm up then start at 10AM.
BP is bringing a kicker and a hand rail plus Bosch with some connects rails.
BBQ sandwiches and baked beans for lunch, because there isn't much out there.
Please register for this event just need the critical information (Name, Number, email) if you have filled out the full registration from a past event. If you haven't purchased school or individual membership, fill out the registration form then go to paypal site (pinned post).
We are going to have lots of schwag from Dakine, and hyperflex to give out. Also we finally got the custom Slingshot boards in, so I'm thinking photo shoot and kite demos on Sunday.
Message us if you need a place to stay and let us know if you can make it on Friday night.

Forecast is still holding, but wind is going to be stronger in the morning.
All riders need to be at the Skyway by 9am Saturday morning, with a start of heats at 10.
Once again please pay online ($25) through registration form (pinned post) if you do not have a school or personal membership.
We are going to have a highschool rider in our mix, say what's up to Nick Callejo!
Lot's of great prizes this weekend, $200 in gift certificates and additional schwag from Watersports West. Hooked on Kiteboarding just joined the cause with a hyperflex hoodie, beanie and gloves. We finally got the custom CKA Slingshot boards and Dakine gear to round out the prizes $150 in cash (checks).
Bring helmets if you plan on hitting the kicker and rails, thus will be strictly enforced.

Pulling the trigger, this thing is on. We got BP and BB bring some kickin toys to the event, so I hope everyone is stoked to give them a try.
ALL RIDERS NEED TO CHECK IN BY 9AM!
Ikitesurf (windalert) says we will have between 13-18kts which is a bit lower than before but we should get an early start to catch the better winds.
Based on the conditions we will decide whether to the kickers or freestyle first.
Everyone be sure to bring your brain bucket if you are hitting the kicker or rails!
Lunch of BBQ sandwiches, baked beans and coleslaw will be provided for all the riders and volunteers, but we are asking for a $5 donation.
