XWaters - RickI Blog Updates
XWaters is a large and diverse international Internet community of people into watersports. It deals with things like kiting, windsurfing, surfing, sailing, traveling and more. There is also information on destinations/beaches, sports shows, watersports businesses worldwide. I have a blog there largely devoted to kiting content with articles on SUP and other areas. They even have an association page devoted to the FKA. You can see a thumbnail sketch of articles there with links to to full content and images on XWaters in this thread.

Here is the first article I blogged on the site:
It is about a dramatic standup paddle boarder rescue of two surfers washed over a mile offshore by tidal rips into the Red Triangle (sharky waters) in cold December conditions in Northern California. "Standup Paddleboarding To The Rescue Here is a case of a standup paddle surfer helping a pair of surfers. http://www.fksa.org/albums/album261/Coast.jpg Watermen help others within our abilities, it is what we do, regardless of what we're on out there." The next was on the 2011 Surf Expo. This was the only write up that I did on this show. I took a close look at standup paddleboarding gear, some unusual water toys, great new innovations from GoPro with some interesting visuals.
http://www.fksa.org/albums/album575/...nter.sized.jpg "Surf Expo is a large international water sports and apparel trade show held twice each year in Orlando, Florida in the USA. It provides an opportunity for manufacturers/distributers to connect with retailers and show off merchandise available for this year. Next a short look at:
"Wildlife Aquatic → Portuguese Man-Of-War Invade SE Florida! " http://www.fksa.org/albums/album580/...1947.sized.jpg We had a TON of Portuguese man-o-war flood are waters and beaches for several weeks this year.
