Lauderdale By-The-Sea Access Updates
 

A threat to access has developed at this seaside town due to complaints over the riding practices of a very small minority of kiteboarders in the area. The mayor, city commission and BSO have received complaints and are concerned about kiteboarding. The FKA has gotten in touch with local government on this issue and plan to meet with them in the near future along with some local riders to discuss problems and solutions in the form of local guidelines. A mass meeting among kiteboarders at large will soon follow to discuss the new guidelines and steps necessary to assure that access to kiteboard here continues.

This problem should be readily manageable as has been repeated many times in various cities around Florida.
