Does anyone know of the kiteboarding beaches in Venice/Englewood area?
Hello, I'm spending sometime in Venice/Englewood this week, June 28th - July3rd and brought my kiting gear with hopes the wind will blow enough to fly my 12m Waroo. Looks like today had decent wind speeds, but I don't really know where to go. I'd like to ride where other folks ride, just in case. I was wondering if anyone had tips on where are the kiteboarding beaches in the Englewood/Area?

You wont find too many kiters there, but Casperon by the pier has some traffic.
Anywhere on that coast is a good spot, but the peir has a nice wide beach. |
Are there places people go around this area when the wind is directly on shore at the beaches? I tried the beach yesterday and the wind was to directly onshore for me. I think everyday I've been here it's been at least 18knots for most of the day.
