Wind in Barbados in August?

Hi all, was hoping someone may have been (or lives) in Barbados during August. It appears that the windy season dies around the beginning of July.

Will be heading there for a few weeks (been there many times, but never in August), and am wondering if I should even bother bringing gear.

What say you all?...any hope at all to get some sessions in (foil or TT)?

Thanks.

If no one else responds at least you have this input. Looking at archived ikitesurf wind for "Barbados," the station is on the lower SE coast, August isn't that bad, it is worse in SE Florida by comparison. September is substantially weaker. Looking at August records going back to 2011 you usually have easterly winds from 10 to 20 mph most days in the month. If you're ok with foiling, you should be set along with a fair quantity of tt conditions too. Checkout the ikiesurf archives for yourself. If you're going to be there for a while, might as well take some gear and good luck. Have a good trip!
