Bonfire on the Beach?
So now that it's getting cold out I was thinking of chilling with some friends and having a bonfire on the beach. I am new to the area so was wondering what beach around st pete allows you to have a bonfire? Also do I need a permit or something like that?

That's not true. I've camped on shell key before and had a fire there.
Just make sure that you follow all the rules a get a permit if you plan to camp overnight. http://www.shellkey.org/camping.asp |
well don't have access to a boat so shell key is not possible for me now bummer looks really cool
