Dennis windage

The eye of Dennis just came ashore slightly east of the Pensacola Bay Bridge....these guys got it just 8 months ago....the water was so full of debris you could not kite there for months....
Wind and rain in Panama City Beach has been minimal,,,no tornadoes yet like Ivan brought....gusting to 60 plus right now NE.....the wind is going SSW in the next 30 minutes or so.....
yesterday was sunny with blue skys...about dark it clouded up and a few bands came through.....two kiters out just before the squall line hit yesterday evening in gusty winds....no power out as of yet.
we have had rideable wind since the first day of July.....rare for the Gulf Coast. Looks like wind all week here as well.
Lots of guys looking for big kites here and big boards as well. looks like lots of new gizmo's out there for light wind riders....time will tell.
This is the hardest hitting Hurricane ever for the gulf coast in the month of July.....there will probably be more behind this one, as Hurricane season has just barely got going.
Fly safe

Thanks for the report Rush. Best of luck to everyone impacted by Dennis, it just came ashore there. Take good care and let us know how things are going there.
