Thruster vs Quad fin setup

It seems like there is a strong trend toward Quad fin setups on kiteboards. But the classic thruster cannot be counted out. Both have their merits.

Which do you ride and why do you like it?

I usually rider a thruster arrangement as much out of habit as anything else. I don't recall spending time kiting on a quad board except way back in the original directional days. Which configuration do you guys prefer and for what applications?

Nice video you put together on the question ...

Some of that wind would go down very nicely right now.

A Thruster is better in higher winds (it can hold more wind) and is also better for carving turns.

A Quad is better in lighter winds and will plane up quicker and is also better for
upwind and holding a line.

of course you need to normalize the above statements for width and rocker
