RickI Captured By News Helicopter
 

A few of us were out off Delray late well into twilight during some nice winds October 1. It was blowing into the thirties earlier in the day so the surf was really coming in. I noticed a helicopter parked at about 1500 ft. a bit south and inland. It was just sitting there like it was checking out traffic on I-95 but was too far east for that. Someone at the office mentioned seeing kitesurfing on Channel 5 TV News the night before off Delray. Got a copy of that part of the newscast and George with Kiteflix did the rest. Thanks George!

Thanks Neil! All I did was play anonymous kiteboarder, George dubbed in the ID. You are right though, I saw kiteboarding on the Weather Channel twice last week. Once off Catalina and the other time involving snow kiting. I am hearing less about parachutists falling into the water, repeatedly, these days. Whew, good thing.
