After the Storm wind
Today: 9-20-04 in Panama City Beach,,,,the beaches have changed up a bit here ....most are packed hard and scorched by the Hurricane winds that blew straight onshore Friday at 50-60 knots most of the day. Alligator Point, which used to be a tight launch has opened up and now has three times as much room for launching. It was blowing 15-18 today with NE winds most of the day. The gulf side is different as well...the beach got pounded and there is debris everywhere. Tomorrow looks good with 20-25 forecasted. All in all, PCB made out ok with the exception of a few Tornadoes that ripped through the day before the Hurricane hit.
