Way to go to all the winners, competitors and volunteers. Way to go Gebi! Thanks Enrique for putting on another fun event. Looking forward to learning more about the race and all the folks that did the run.

enrique it would have been nice if you would have had signs @ the original start sight or better yet someone there to redirect any stragglers that didn't get the e-mail about this last minute change! In addition isn't there supposed to be a 24 hour notice? that would have been 9 a.m. on friday. To make a long story short I was checking the computer all day long on Friday for an update, nothing! That evening i was talking to a friend about whether he was gonna go, he happened to be on his computer and told me yes the race is on. For some reason he didn't inform me about the change r.e. the start location, it was a long drive for nothing! Is this your fault? I would say yes at least partly as alluded to previously. Maybe next time you can be a little more organized!

first of all we had people at the original location to direct them to the new start which was less than 2 min away down wind of the original start if any one had gone on the beach they would have seen the flags

the reason we did not post the 24 hour notice was because we were checking the wind direction but everybody new we were having the race there was never a question about that, so we sent the 12h notice

the person who is responsible for the race and for everything is me enrique,weather the race is good , bad weather it goes well or not it is always the responsibility of the person in charge but you know what it is really really hard to keep so many people happy and as the years go go i will get better at keeping everyone happy and become more organized i am sorry for your inconvinience and i really look forward to you coming next time and i hope it is a better experience for you

about the 70.00 less in the pot . it is clear you do not know us because anybody who does knows very well it is not about the money infact we have spent hundreads of dollars in the past races making sure we have money for the winners money for prizes and all the oher expenses that come up so believe me the 35.00 dollar pot we asked for did not cover
what we put into it and we dont care because this is something we love to do so please dont make comments about money because if you have the love of kiteboarding like we have you would have never mentioned it. we do this for our kids and the love of kite boarding and for nothing else

Yo Mr. 1 post. Take your clueless bad attitude out of the forum. You gotta beef with someone that bends over backwards to host something like this then give him the respect of a phone call and not a public whipping.

Wait a minute, you drove a long way to get there and when you arrived you didn't bother to walk out to the water? Look up up & down the beach to see what was up? Too many holes in that story.
