Tough question, you sure you would be happy hang gliding and white water rafting on the Ocoee? You might get in touch with the guys at Tybee Island, GA. It is the closest kiteboarding group that comes to mind. They may have some ideas. Good luck!

I hadn't heard of the lake before. Looking at the topo, nearby higher elevtions and relatively narrow lake, it seems like gusty winds could be fairly common. Then again, the reality could be much different. I see the local yacht club puts on windsurfing events. I would get in touch with them for more info about kiteboarding, conditions, etc. at:
