Danes visiting Florida in March
 

Hello Kiters,

We are a small group of 4 danish guys planning to visit Florida in March (1st - 17th+).
We plan to visit for 14days+ and would love to get some local info on where we should stay, what beaches we should go to, and so on.

Atm we are planning to stay for atleast 14 days, we would like to visit Key West, Miami and other places, but hey, we might just end up partying in Miami and visiting the closest spots :-)

We hope that some of you locals and previous visitors would help us out by posting links to accommodations (looking for the cheap places with other surfers), spots or what ever info you may have.

Btw; Is March generally a good month to visit florida for kitesurfing?

Typically March is one of our better wind months of the year. It is also a traditional time for kiteboarding events. Fingers crossed that strong conditions will come through this year as patterned in the past.

I would take a close look at two first references on kiteboarding throughout Florida and some of the area specific posts at Rider Resources for Miami and the Keys, http://fksa.org/forumdisplay.php?f=128

For inexpensive accommodations I typically use the search engines, yahoo.com or expedia.com and see what I can find. Rates will vary through the year and sometimes with events.

After you look over the information please send in other questions that you might have. I hope that other locals will supply information as well.
