oTHErside Demo in Key West, 3/2/08
 

The Otherside Boardsports in Islamorada will be hold a demo on 3/2/08 at Smathers Beach in Key West. We will have kites and boards for demo from brands such as Best, Slingshot, Windwing, Cabrihna, maybe North and Spleene. If you are in the area and want to try some gear out or just want swag, stop by and check us out.

What time are you guys cranking up on the 23rd?

We should be there between 9-10 am providing there is wind. Still a week away but the looks good for now.

See you guys next week, I told the crew at the beach today and they are looking forward to seeing you guys and trying out the gear.Kite-nite is confirmed for that night so it looks like it is going to be a busy weekend.

Noel, good to hear you guys are coming down. Please just remind everyone coming to fly here that there are rules and some beach manners. We have had a big problem down here this year and its getting old, "riders", not you guys come and do what they want, dont care cause they are leaving and the city or whoever else calls me or codes people, just a barrle of fun. I just want to ride there, so remind people about this. Give me a shout 3 days before and i will give you the heads up on the weather for here. Also you can look at this model

sorry to make post that seems negitive, just want to keep people from blaming you guys if shit gets funny, you would be suprised what people do when they come here....ahh maybe not you used to be here.

I totally understand where you are coming from. We tend to police Anne's Beach and have had the same problems. Hopefully we, as a community, will figure out a way in the future to get it through peoples heads about reckless behavior. I'll call you Wednesday.

Demo Update
 

Due to unseen weather conditions, (no wind), The Otherside Boardsports is rescheduling the demo for next weekend. March 2nd and if there is no wind then it will be the following weekend and so on. As of right now it is looking really good with the call at east winds at 20 knots all day. See ya next weekend.
