Views from the Bahamas in the 1940's
 
I came across a remarkable collection of photos dealing with boat building and ways of life in the Abacos in the Northern Bahamas. The site, "Apprenticing Land & Sea" deals with traditional wooden boat building, seamanship and apprenticing in various areas.
