FKA Kiteboarding Forums - MYSTERY Kite Event Today

Shot a kite event today, went up remembering everything about it. Strange thing, as time went on, I forgot some important details. Things like the event's name, competitors names, etc.. You would think, something as important as that would stick.

Then again, you would think a site that has chronicled this same event in hundreds of photos, what's that name (???), for seven years straight might be remembered too? Guess not, we all must be getting old and forgetful. Hope to have better recall tomorrow. Tonight is just a quick taste of a few shots anyway.

The folks had pretty adverse side off gusting and lulling conditions. These kiters rode well regardless until the heats were called early due to inadequate wind. Hope to have better winds tomorrow.

The kiting competition was put on weather hold fairly early. Some guys stayed out to free ride and others did some standup.

There's just a few shots. The competitors had to go into wind waiting mode pretty early this morning. Hopefully it will be brighter tomorrow for better shots and the wind stronger for more fun riding. My memory might even return, stranger things, right?
