Support you local kite scene!
 

With the economy in a tornadic spiral that is effecting just about everyone, I hope that everyone would consider now more than ever supporting your local kite businesses.

There are many dealers to choose from throughout the Bay area. These are the folks that are putting there necks on the line to support the sport we all love. These are the folks that are on the water, offering demos, loaner gear, and saving your ass when you get in a jam.

There is tons of competition out there for your business, I would just hope that you would give the locals a shot at your business before looking elsewhere. I am sure I speak for all dealers in the bay area, that we will work hard to earn your business and keep the stoke high for years to come.

Keep it local and support your friendly kiter's business...
I will add a section in the TBKA Forum for local businesses, kiting related or otherwise, to help the cause. Please post your business/trade info, contact info, and logos and we will advertise it there for free. A new website is in the works.

As a new kiter, I found that dealing locally is extremely valuable. Not only do you get to try the gear, and deal with real people face to face, but the locals help you to get oriented and educate you about everything kiting where you will be kiting.

Yes we do. It is October 26th at Sunset Beach in Tarpon Springs. It is our first demo event of the season and our first demo in the north county. Thanks to all the north county folks for your support.

Windsurfers are going to be invited as well, so if we do get wind, it should be a great day for both groups. I think we are planning a "Dash for Cash" race between windsurfers and kiters.
