These come either singly or paired and can be rapidly clicked into and out of the fin boxes. The best part is the fins click in easily to for rapid tear down and stacking of boards or just easy setup. http://www.fksa.org/gallery3/var/res...g?m=1340851444 Kent setup some pursuit SUP races around the buoys. http://www.fksa.org/gallery3/var/res...g?m=1343742713 Damo captures some pursuit race action. http://www.fksa.org/gallery3/var/res...g?m=1343742712 NP brings some intriguing SUP paddles to market. Where was the 2013 Cabrinha gear demoed in Islamorada?
Hi Rick,
I'm heading to Islamorada next month. Where exactly was the 2013 Cabrinha gear demoed when you went in 2012? (Just trying to figure out where to stay vis-a-vis where to kite). Any recommendations you have would be welcome. (already know about whale harbor and anne's beach and have seen aaron osters write up of the various spots on Google) Thanks, Jo |
We had dealer meetings for two years at the Moorings. It is one of the better spots for kiting or even staying in Islamorada. http://themooringsvillage.com It is a bit pricey however. Another place which has a large lot by the seawall to rig and launch/land from is the Islander, http://guyharveyoutpostislamorada.com That is the resort on the ocean side, not the newer one they acquired on the bay side. Another option right beside Whale Harbor is http://www.chesapeake-resort.com/ . You will want to rig, launch and land at Whale Harbor and stay well offshore from the resort so they don't throw you out. Have fun down there.
