Repairable: Nope not this kite, Not after we retrieved it from the rocks, It went from (1) panel that was repairable to. All panels shreaded. I had him strip the bladders from it for a future repair on some other kite. No worries . He was looking for an excuse to purchase new equipment :roll:


Rick, I'm pretty sure that my "Katrina Experiance" was after the storm had crossed over. The smallest kite I had in my quiver at the time was a 12m. So I wouldn't have pushed it prior to the storm hitting land. It was one of those picture perfect days ( Chest to shoulder high south windswell, with steady wind. Except for those feeder bands that were still comming threw) I saw it comming up from the south, I just under estimated what it was going to throw at me.
