False statement has been rumored about Matheson
 

It has been heard and said in the last few days that Miamikiteboarding was planning on setting a Kitesurfing concession in Matheson...

I want to announce Clearly and definitely here that it is completely FALSE and ABSURD.
MKB had no interest in running or operating other than in Crandon Park, especially not in Matheson, which is already over-loaded by numerous "instructors" teaching on a tight rag out there.

The only contribution MKb brought in Matheson, has been the donation of a Sign displaying the International TEACHING STANDARDS , just to inform the bystander of proper learning steps and safety procedures when getting into kitesurfing ... and to refresh the memory of some "instructors" who would have forget about them as well.
It was a pure donation strictly targeted to possibly bring up the level of safety awareness on such a busy spot as Matheson , as being part of the kitesurfing community In Miami.

We never expected any sort of commerical feedback on that , in the contratry : we entirely paid for making this sign and others display in all the Miami kite stores.

For memory:
This donation came as a follow up of Miami kitesurfing industry meeting last year in Berrie's where the idea was brought up to display the IKO standard in stores and spots ,to better inform futur kitesurfers about proper steps to get into the sport.
Done . we kept our word and put some in each store in Miami .
All this paid by MKB because we commited to do it, and we keep our word.

So spread the word that all this BS around Matheson is simply motivated by envious, twisted or jealous minds. Just to harm , not to help toward progress .
