Kite Nite in Key West
 

Seems like a lot of folks are going to be in Key West over the holidays. Am going to try and organize a Kite Nite at one of the local establishments. Greg, you up for it?

Sounds good Frank, we have been talking about doing one at Dante,s, it is a great place and Randy Mac ( one of the beach locals )is playing there. We were thinking just after new year as a lot of the kiters have Xmis party,s or family affairs over Xmis. What do you think?

PS, now all we have to do is get some kite companies to sponsor some goodies-hint hint.

I was thinking Saturday after Christmas, or early in the week before New Years. People are bored by that time anyway. A lot of people may be leaving just after New Years, strung out from the holidays.

What about Eclipse?

Any other parties in KW happening while I'm there? Is The Kite House having a get together? What's happening New Year's Eve?

I won't be able to organise a kite nite that soon, I spoke to Dave from Eclipse about some giveaways and he is going to see what he can get for us, We are also going to get some
KEY WEST KITEBOARDING shirts printed to hand out and I will get hold of Nick and Paul and see if they want to combine the nite, as the more the merrier and it will be good to get all the guys together to have a paaaarty and discuss any issues anyone might have. SEVEN SPORT,S , the OTHERSIDE and ABOVE AND BELOW , we would also love it if you guys wanted to get involved too, maybe we can talk about how we can promote and advertise safe and fun kiting in the keys.

Hey guys, sounds good. We've been planning a beach party for the Saturday after Christmas because it is our 10 year celebration...Dec...27th, at Whale Harbor. It started out small but it has been growing. A kiter named Mark who is in town for a few months is also a party planner and wanted to put his skills to use while he is here! He has done alot of work for it and it looks like it will be a good time. I'll announce it in another post. And I am all for something down in KW as well!!! Paartaaaay!!!
