Great advise gentlemen. I'll see about heading to one of the great lakes for some riding, not sure if I'll have transportation or not. The great thing about mille lacs is the fact that it's somewhere around 14x18 miles which should provide some pretty solid wind. Water shouldn't be too bad, summer time water temp is usually in the 70's...mind you I'm going mid-august. It's never warm, but tolerable without a wetsuit.
