Yow, just found this on tripadvisor.com from Oct. 2008 (I was last there in July 07):
[Sadly, the current owner has apparently not been paying the electric bill. When we arrived at Customs on Bimini, they said, "Oh, nobody told you?" The power was off and a skeleton crew remains. That really sucks. It is ironic to see an island adrift. Hope it lands someplace close to as good as it once was, soon.

The old club needed renovation to be sure. This architectural concept seems to belong in another place. Then again, there is quite a bit of that going around over there.
