1. All the training in the world can't replace common sense
2. When the temperature drops 15 degrees in seconds, flag your kite
3. Alot of current safety systems on the market don't work when the wind hits 45mph, so don't let it get to that point, otherwise you will have to likely ditch the kite.
The bummer is, after watching a full blown rescue situation go down, and then approaching the folks involved about their stupid choice to ride in a violent storm, they had the balls to say "why don't you just leave man". Yeah, I am the one that needs to leave. Me!!!! I should get the hell out of the park. WOW!!!!!
So what did I do??? I left. It was raining.
