Sergio Bacic and I were invited by Captain Mike Brown of Ocean Rescue of Deerfield Beach to provide an orientation to the lifeguards on
kiteboarding this morning. We went over similar content to that covered on 12.12.12 last year in a USLA course. Thanks to Sergio,
Capt. Mike and all the guards for asking us to be present and working to keep kiting going.
NOTE- there is no launching or landing off of guarded beaches in Deerfield as is the case most beaches in SE Florida. We need to say
AT LEAST 100 yards off of guarded beaches, even if you are on a downwinder. Please pass this on.
