First, what things looked like just to the south in Boca Raton that morning. The wind was still light and offshore pending clocking side onshore and building in speed substantially later on. See below ...


Conditions were iffy for much of today with passing squalls and showers making things unstable. Here is a video just after sunset at Boynton Inlet.




I was down there between 5 and 5:30 pm, you can see the approximate winds below:







The light was fading fast putting a challenge on imaging with an iphone.



The north jetty was getting hammered with surf.



The swells were well formed south of the inlet with a bunch of surfers out. A nasty looking shelf cloud moves to the south.
