Get in touch with Miamikiteboarding.com for a sea taxi ride to the flats. The best flat water conditions, least crowds and hassles in Miami-Dade County are there.
Last I heard we hadn't managed to get totally banned at 87th yet. Do not go south into the guarded areas and don't go too far north into Surfside. I understand they banned us a few years back.
