You really don't need to buy one with lessons. Trainer kites convey a fairly limited but still important grasp of actual traction kite behavior. In other words a 16 m four line kite will handle and feel quite a bit differently than a 2 m ram foil trainer. The trainer is an important step but it is only a step in the process of starting up.
