whale harbor and islamorada
whale harbor is a little tight on the launch...you need to move out into the water to launch the kite (there is a very, very small beach area) with the normal NE,E winds. Other than that, it is great riding and easy to get to the sandbar if you are able to ride upwind. There is a 10.00 fee/waiver to use the area for the day and I think you can get a season pass.
