Cool thing is that my GF is completely supportive of my kiting and time spent doing so. She is an avid volleyball player so she has always been going out on week nights and weekends for tournaments / team matches..etc so she loved that I picked a sport that got my ass out of the house, away from my xbox and computer games.
She also didnt seem too upset when i told her i just spent a big chunk of change on two new kites and am looking to buy an SUV this weekend to better accomodate my kite gear.
Life is good.
