Default Stay out of lifeguarded nearshore areas!

A red and white Kahoona V2 flown by a guy in a grey helmet followed by a purple Kahoona* were doing a downwinder Saturday likely from Delray around 3 pm. A request, if there are lifeguard stands, stay beyond 100 yards from shore. It doesn't matter if the break is inside that, so are potential bans for us. I've heard it from the head lifeguard in Boca Raton, they have about lost patience with us. So, how about it?

Lots of launches getting shut down. Some folks have little choice other than to provide proof of certification and pay fees to ride in some areas in South Florida. It looks like there may be two more areas added to the list soon. For folks that cause problems with access particularly knowingly, you're voting for more lost launches and being forced to pay to ride and/or more restrictions. So, if you see someone riding in an out of bounds area, do yourself and the rest of us a favor and fill them in on some of the problems our sport is dealing with.

* The purple Kahoona was staying well outside, thanks for that!
