Lately I have seen increasing amount of sharks (bulls , tigers, reef ones) in the Gulf waters, which makes me anxious at times and often disrupts the dives.

As I understand there are wearable gadgets that are supposed to push the sharks away:

ESDS

SharkShield

Did anyone try those in Florida Gulf or Atlantic waters?
Do they really work from your personal experience?
Which one (ESDS vd SharkShield) would you choose?
I don't recall anyone who used either device although some have talked about it. I would do a search of posts on scubaboard, deeperblue and Seabreeze and see what you can find. Based on that I would put an inquiry on one or more those sites. Spearfishing substantially increases your risk of shark encounters, given that you might reconsider spearfishing. Lots of spearfishermen just deal with it but then again particularly in Sharkey waters have a lot more encounters.
