Another HUGE advantage to a custom board, is it is unlikely to get stolen (or at least re-sold.... easily).
I use to paint all my boards to look like crap, just so no one would want to take them.

Nice work, Phil. I wonder if a hot looking board increases someone's (a non-kiter) desire to steal it?
Obviously, they couldn't resell it (without the crap getting kicked out them).
