Irma Harris' Memorial Service happens tomorrow afternoon, Saturday, April 11, 2015 from 3 to 6 pm+ near the south jetty of Ft. Pierce Inlet.
Please bring your kitesurfing kites, we'll inflate them on the beach as a tribute to Irma, wind or no.

Everyone please join us as we gather together to celebrate the life of Irma Harris. There will be a buffet of food provided at the
inside bar of the Inlet restaurant, live music and a slide show will be presented inside the Inlet restaurant to share in the memories
of Irma's life and how passionately she lived it.
Irma launches a next kite with Greg Kuklinski, Jeff Beige right in front of the location of the memorial service in 2001.

We encourage anyone who wants to share a memory or an experience they had with Irma out under one of the memorial tents
we will have set up on the beach at this time.

Weather permitting we will release Irma's ashes into the ocean.
We will supply all of you with a flower,
and ask you to line up along the ocean shoreline to release the flowers into the water as we paddle her ashes out off the shoreline.
(Paddling out is optional.. I just know Irma has always loved when she saw paddle out ceremonies done for surfers..so we
plan to do it for her)

For all of you who knew Irma through kiting, we are asking you to bring your kites and blow them up as a tribute to Irma ..wind
or no wind..to see a beautiful bouquet of kites is something she would absolutely love.
I came across this photo from 14 years ago titled "Irma Charges." I recall the day off Bathtub Reef on South Hutchinson Island. Winds were strong into the high 30 mph range. Irma was out there shredding hard in strong conditions with very early kite gear.
So come out and celebrate with us Irma's love for the ocean, kiting, fishing , diving and just staying salty yet ever so sweet.
