There is no guarantee of wind but you are heading over at a time of year that has pretty good wind as a rule. I would say to bring some gear along if you can. If it goes off while you're there you will not be a happy camper.

There are no nearby realtime wind sensors that I could find.

Alex Shogrun of Best Kiteboarding bought the Dunmore Beach Hotel in Harbour Island back in 2004 and opened the area up to kiting. He should have some videos in his archive of the area over on his website.

I think AJ out of Nassau has been stopping there during his kite camp as well. He could probably fill you in nicely on the layout.

There is a wide sand beach on the east side of the island for N to E to S winds. There are shallows to launch in on the west side from N to W to S winds. So you should be covered. You can tour the island via sat. images at:
