Enrique is a excellent source of info for the SW coast. He lives and rides there and more importantly is directly involved in trying to preserve access there.
Naples can have a narrow beach with a lot of bystanders. You want to try to avoid crowds and to launch and get beyond a 100 yds. from shore before riding north and south in some cases.
You folks have a nice site in the Gorge to go with all that strong wind you have no doubt. Have a good visit and consider traveling around a bit to see more of what Florida has to offer for varied riding conditions while you are here. More at:
