Yes, true story and all in one location in the Lower Florida Keys at
Above & Below Extreme Ocean Sports. Kevin and Jenny started the shop this year catering to kiteboarders and free divers/spearfishermen. They carry Cabrinha, Eclipse, Dakine on the kite side of things and a bunch of good labels like Spetton, Rob Allen, Riffe, Hammerhead on the diving side. It is located in the northern part of Marathon just above the airport at mile marker 55.

Jenny manages the shop while Kevin handles kiteboarding instruction, excursions to both the Atlantic and Backcountry sides of the Keys. Kevin can take people out by boat or from shore. He has quite a few intriguing secret spots to get kiters rev'd up.

So what if there isn't much wind, then what? Well, there's always free diving to look into. That's part of the reason the
HEADING OUT! forum was created. There is a lot to do in the ocean that's fun even without wind. The shop has plenty of low volume masks, long fins, floats, guns, shafts, points, free diving weight belts and more. Lots of satisfaction to be had in free diving just by doing it.
They even have a crew of sponsored spearfishermen, teens and well motivated in free diving
