Almost within free diving range, about 400 ft.!
Some other guys hanging out with the submersible rigged out for technical diving, probably with trimix.
Gotta love all those tanks and weight. We used to wear FIVE tanks for this sort of thing.

Descending
The sub's bigger brother that runs within 100 ft. of the surface with over 40 passengers goes to sea.

There are still other things to think about doing if the wind isn't on in the Caymans. A personal favorite
was breathhold diving down to around 80 to 100 ft. deep on the dropoff using a rented electric dive scooter.
The droppff or wall is just to the west of the shoreline in the deep blue water off the DiveTech shop at West End of Grand Cayman.
