Default Southernmost point in the USA (Not Key West), An Amazing Place

The first polynesians to encounter the Hawaiian Islands and settle there purported landed at the southernmost are of the Big Island of Hawaii. This area, Southpoint, is in fact the southernmost point in the USA, not that dead end street with the buoy in Key West. Southpoint is a wildly intriguing place and well worth a visit. Supposedly guys kite there but I am not quite sure how without a support boat anyway. They may receive stronger winds than the northshore of Maui there as well.
