The best combo is to buy about this time (or a little earlier) while selling your used stuff at the same time. This is a great time to get last year's stuff at discount.

I still haven't replaced my big kite actually, Brian.

I don't get as much new stuff as some think. I just have lots of older kites in the garage.

I only got one 07 kite, come to think of it, and hopefully it will last another 6 months.
My Ozone Instinct lasted almost 2 years (for 13 to 30 knots), I had to replace it recently, went with the Waroo.
Not hard for a kite to last when it stays in the garage for 3 months like lately.
That RRD has some serious hours on it, as did the Ozone. I think I figured out once that kites cost about 3 bucks an hour (not bad).
