Sick Wave Session!
Yesterday I made the trip to the east coast for some surfing. After surfing all morning the wind came on and the kites pumped up. The surf was already 7-8 ft due to a low sitting off the coast of Hatteras.
I kited some sick waves in Peru last summer, but have to say that my 7 mile downwinder yesterday takes the cake! So awesome when you get done with a session and you are yelling at your buddy because you just had an epic ride. Sharing the stoke after an amazing session is always great.
The last 3 weeks have reminded me how sick it can be to live an active life on the water in Florida. 3 weeks ago I was lit on a 9M cruising through crystal-clear, butt-flat water in the Keys. Yesterday I had a surf session in the AM and a kitesurf session that rivals the best wave kiting in the world. We are lucky to live in such a great place.
