Big Things Poppin' - A Day For the Kids
On Aug 5th the Childrens Home is going to have a beach day for the orphans in Ft. Desoto on North beach.
The day is going to be filled with paddleboarding, skimboarding, surfing, tubing, windsurfing, and much more. Last year's event was extremely successful and it touched the lives of over 70 kids - many of whom have never expericence the beach nor have ever had the opportunity to learn the water sports that we love and enjoy every day. All ready the Rockstars of our area have pledged their support such as Wild Bill Parker, Matt SexyTimes Sexton, Steve-O, Steve Saddler, Water Sports West, Shanners Meat Market, The Island Shop, and many more.
Mark your calendars for August 5th - the day will start at 11am and end at 4:30pm with a free BBQ and great times. We need your support - volunteer your time and/or bring watertoys for the kids to use such as: surfboards, skimboards, paddleboards, the like.
