Saw one of the Nobile boards but...
It looked awesome until I picked it up and then I wasn't so sure?
It seemed to have waaay too much flex (turning into heavy rocker on the water) and really did not seem as light as it should have for it's thickness. I could easily bend the tips with just my fingers which seemed like too much flex to me. I didn't get to ride it but I bet it would have trouble going upwind when the rail is loaded? Well, at least for my fat rear anyway. Before you dump $900 on one you might want to do a test ride just to make sure it does what you need it to. I am not speaking for all of them just the one I saw. Only seen one so far. I am trying to find something to replace my anomaly (aka the punisher) and that board didn't seem to be what I was looking for. Last edited by tomstock; 12-22-2006 at 06:08 PM. |

Well if your looking in that price range...I love my S. Phatty. You should at least try it. Hopefully it won't put the hurting on your leg that it puts on the wallet!

Oh yeah I've tried the SP, and it rocks. Very short and very wide... it's fun to jump but still glides like a big board.
I am actually thinking about getting a glide to replace my anomaly. Not new though... used one. I love my anomaly but I don't think I can take another hit in the shin with it. |
