Bizarre Kiting Video
Kiteboarding must be coming of age. At least the depth and creativity of video editing are advancing. The early kiter clone sequence and later on slo mo kiter while the world strolls by at real time speed is inspired. The videographer & rider dwell on handle passes quite a bit but the varied background and intriguing editing carry the day. The score is less inspired, my opinion only of course. It is nice volume can be muted on these things to expand viewing pleasure. Check it out ...

I have been a big fan of Andy Gordon's style since I saw his first posted video. (I actually went apesh.it over it)
I was so intrigued I wrote to him and have stayed in touch with him. He is an exceptionally nice guy and I am really glad to see he is getting more work. Here is the video from him that first caught my eye. Sounds like you may not like this music either, it's more Zep and SoundGarden (two of my favorites). It's called Western Shore. http://www.rubenlenten.com/reactie.a...CF636E6F656%7D |

Thanks for posting that Scott. Brilliant editing! No end of excellent filming and editing sequences, really like the sunrise/sunset treatments. You're right, don't like the score, detracts from all those superlative images in my opinion. Still, what would really suck would be if everyone liked all the same music. Variety is good. It is a great effort over all, this guy is quite a talent.

I personally like the HadlowPro video the most, mostly because I am a self sponsored flexifoil rider, but I like the music in the WesternShore video better!

You guys saw the IN-Vent video with Hadlow right?
That one is great too. Regardless of your musical takes, Andy gives a huge amount of attention to the sound in his videos. Anyway, check out all the sound "effects" in IN-Vent... they are awesome. I couldn't find anything but the YouTube version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iov06rS5T8 |
