Cancun soon, any suggestions?
Lucky me... My wife's office did so well that we're heading to Cancun April 11th - 17th, staying at the Moon Palace. This will be followed by 3 days at the Turnberry Isle resort in Miami. Any tips, insights, suggestions in regards to kiteboarding either place would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance. A-Bomb |

When the wind is on it is like going to a prime wind destination down in the Caribbean. Thanks for the insight Rick. I don't know why, but I wasn't even thinking about the Kitehouse. If I remember correctly from pics I've seen, they even have some jumps and railslides, etc. Some locals just went a couple weeks ago and it sounded like they had a great time there. The flats via water taxi sound good too. I ride in flat water most of the time due to our conditions, but having 200 square miles would be ridiculously cool.
Cancun looks like it will cover most wind directions with a variety of waves and flats. I'll try to get in touch with ChiroJoe too. I found his website before I posted here. Seems like they're possibly the only kiteboarding destination on the Peninsula and not to far from where I'll be. |
