Cleveland Rocks!
Just got back from family vacation in Cleveland, OH and probably could have ridden 9 out of the 14 days I was there with 3 9m days. Of course I was busy on the high wind days but I did manage to ride 3 times pretty lit on
15m. Nice rolling swells had me thinking I was on the Gulf on a good day. You had to search out launch spots b/c most of the beaches were very small and tree-lined. Water was fine in just a bathing suit but got deep just a few feet from shore - made me think how fortunate we are to have the shallow water/flats that we have here. Also, we are lucky b/c our winds often last the day or even pick up in the evening when everyone is getting off work but up there it is usually the opposite - it usually blows from 11am to 4pm and then dies in the evening. That's gotta suck balls for all the working kiters! |

Good deal Rob! Any water time is better than none.
Were there any other kiters up there? On a lake or in the river? I got some water time about 2 weeks ago, almost a 7 hour session. Seabreezes have not been friendly this year so far. |
