Matheson Hammock Thursday PM
Today was a fantastic day at Mathenson Hammock. The tide was low and the wind was patchy at best... however what made this day great is the fact that I finally consistantly rode upwind. The feeling is hard to decribe, having that tention and pulling up into the wind. Most of you on here know the feeling, for those of you who are on your way it is well worth the time and effort it takes. Also let me say, for bigger guys the Contra 3 17m rocks. I love this kite, it is a LOT faster that anything this size I have flown. Pulls like a tank and the depower is great. Here is a few shots of the day.
A view looking out from Mathenson Hammock at low tide Cruising Cruising with the kite in the shot Pic with some other kiters running around outside the shallows This pick I found to be interesting to the left we have a Cabrinha Contra 3 17m, to the right a Cabrinha CO2 17m. The technology has come a log way. My final review of the day right after putting my kite down. Great day and I can't wait to get out there tomorrow. |

Glad you had a good session and thanks for putting the photos up! Really helps to tell the story. Should be more where that came from this weekend. Hope everyone gets some quality wind/water time over the next few days.
